The Developmental Disabilities (DD) Waiver is a New Mexico Medicaid program that funds home- and community-based services for eligible individuals with developmental disabilities, helping them live in their communities rather than in institutional settings.
Who is eligible for services?
Eligibility is determined by the State of New Mexico. Generally, individuals must be enrolled in the DD Waiver program and have the relevant services authorized in their Individual Service Plan (ISP). We're happy to help you understand the process and connect you with the right resources.
How do I get started with the DD Waiver?
Individuals typically begin by registering with the New Mexico Developmental Disabilities Supports Division (DDSD) and working with a case manager. If you're already enrolled and have a service coordinator, we can coordinate directly with your team.
What areas do you serve?
We serve Las Cruces, Anthony, Chaparral, Sunland Park, and the surrounding communities throughout Doña Ana County, New Mexico.
How much do services cost?
Services are funded through the New Mexico Medicaid DD Waiver based on approved service authorizations. There is typically no direct cost to eligible individuals and families for authorized services.
How quickly can services start?
Timing depends on referral review, eligibility verification, authorizations, and staffing. We move as quickly as compliance allows and keep you informed at every step.
